I would have continued shopping but I was very disturbed by the music which discouraged my shopping experience. She said nothing to me and didnt change it after I finished checking out. I told her she should change it because there are 12 year old girls and children who are in the store. I talked to a girl who said she was the manager at the register and she said her boss music was playing.

I dont know how to rate just WAVE fashion but the facility is POORLY maintained the dressing rooms smelled horrible and they were playing very inappropriate music, the songs they played had said nasty, the B word and F word repeating over and over again. So you just know the rep of your local stores. How do I know? I know people who have made that mistake and I lived in California pretty much my whole life. And do not, do not! Open credit with them. It also houses the infamous Curacao! Stay away from that! That is a well known department store in Southern California that marks up prices on stuff you can get way way cheaper elsewhere. They might have what you are looking for. As far as stores, a few shoe stores, Victoria Secret, some 'hood' wear clothing stores and a few other decent ones. There is a Cinnabon cart in the middle of the mall. Food court is decent with one pizza place, chinese food and the rest mostly Hispanic food. There is a swap meet that attaches to the mall. If only the food wasnt sooo overpriced >_> Its yummy ESPECIALLY the Tostilotes! Try them, you wont regret it. The only redeeming trait of this mall is the food. The mall also got rid of the pet center, game stop, and other worthy stores (probably because of low budget) and replaced them with swap meets and other weird stores. The guy took a paper clip, opened my phone, and switched the sim cards. I drove several miles to finally get to the actual T-Mobile (after I went to the wrong address) and found out theyre not even supposed to charge $15, its Free. He gave me the wrong address of another tmobile to get my service back and said I had to pay $15 to get it if I wanted him to do it. The T-mobile here is a FAKE dont shop here I was ripped off $100, when I was trying to get a refund, I had to pay $50 restocking fee and the dude with the tattoo on his left arm had such a NASTY attitude. Everything else is a knock off brand store or chola like k-momo.

I actually dread it xP the only store for 'young' people they have here is papayas. I feel so out of place there, its no longer a fun visit.

Its full of little wannabe gangsta kids and creepy middle aged dudes. I no longer see the young people that kept this place alive. I look forward to meeting and seeing you at our parent and family events.Like someone else mentioned, this place is a little low class. I know it takes a village, and I am committed to partnering with the Thunderbolt families and students along with the community. We also have several staff members who attended Desert Sky as students! We all share the same value to address the needs of the whole student: academically, behaviorally, socially and emotionally.

We have staff who have been with us for years because they love Desert Sky so much. What is clearly evident about Desert Sky is how much the staff loves being here, and how much they love working with our students. For the past nine years I have served as an Assistant Principal at Mountain Ridge High School. My administrative career began as a Dean of Students for one year at North Canyon High School, and two years at Pinnacle High School, both in PVUSD. Fans of fur babies…you know what I am talking about. So, if you see a handsome red head around campus, it is probably him! We have two rescue cats who we absolutely adore as if they were our own children. He is always supportive of me and the school I work at. I have been happily married to my husband, Todd, for 22 years. I graduated from ASU…three times! I have a Bachelor’s degree in Education, a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction and another Master’s in Administration.

I am excited for the new school year and all that it has in store for our students, staff and parents. I am so excited to be back in a true middle school. My name is Michelle Martin, and I am proud to serve as the new Principal of Desert Sky Middle School! Middle school is where my career began, when I served as a 7 th Grade Science Teacher for 13 years at Explorer Middle School in the PV School District.
